Has anyone made yogurt from Kefir?

Is it okay to use Kefir as a starter to make homemade yogurt? I know there is more to Kefir, like yeast and needs special grains, with 2 steps of fermentation into alcohol and also the bacteria culture. So what happens if I just use the Kefir and mix into milk and incubate?

    umm no. have you?

I have not actually done this myself, but I found a web site that goes into a lot of details about Kefir and thought it may be of help.
A second website claims the following, so may be a little more user friendly: wherever a recipe calls for milk, cream, buttermilk or yoghurt, you may freely substitute kefir
