I think that everyone is concerned with weight and how they raise their children. Cooking healthy and fast is alot easier if you plan ahead. Even if you don’t have every single meal worked out in your head, you can have basic things in your house so you can cook up anything in a snap.

My favorite thing to do is keep lots of frozen vegtables in the freezer. They are just one level below fresh, keep way longer than fresh, but still have the same nutrients.

I shop mostly at target. They have big bags of frozen chicken breasts that are so easy to cook up really fast.
If you just decide you want chicken and they are frozen, you can put them in the microwave on defrost. This way they don’t cook up, but defrost in a flash.

I also like the frozen breaded fish they have there. You can get salmon, tilapia, flounder, and other things for a lot better price than fresh.

    I hope I helped;)

    personally i LOVE cooking.

idk if u r vegetarian or not, however ill tell you about some amazing and quick dishes u can make at home.

A Spinach and Artichoke Dip. u can have that, some chips n salsa and even some sour cream with a nice margarita on Friday night.

    Spinach, Artichoke Dip:
14oz Artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
10oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    1/2cup mozzarella cheese
    1/2cup Parmesan cheese
    heavy whipping cream
    black pepper (powder type)
    red pepper (powder type)
mix all of it in a bowl and then put in a dish n back at 375 for about an hour until golden brown at the top. serve warm and enjoy!

another recipe you might enjoy is Spring Rolls, they are available at your local Publix and Kroger. They come in a frozen pack. when u get home, open and pack and fry them in hot oil and they are ready to eat!

If u guys are pizza lovers, u can buy the dough from your local Publix. Roll it out onto a pizza tray. Put in the oven till it is semi done, take it out and put pizza sauce (tomato sauce – available in cans at Publix, warm it up in a pan over the stove, add your own flavorings to it if you wish) add your own fresh toppings (pineapple, broccoli, carrots, onions, cheese, peppers, bell peppers, capers etc) put it in oven till the cheese is melted and the pizza is well done.

    Some other suggestions:
    Shepherds pie
    Vegetable or Mushroom Risotto
    Banana Bread
    Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

    Hope u ENJOY!! :)

Purchase a cook book called “Joy of Cooking” Hundreds of recipes, step by step instructions, descriptions of various foods & how to use them.
Probably the best cookbook ever published. I know someone will disagree with that statement but that’s my opinion
