    Ughhh, wrong.

    Jumping is a measure of Power.

    Power = Force x Velocity

    Jumping high is attained by putting out the maximum amount of force you can in the least amount of time you can. Training for this is done by building strength in the weight-room and by building reactive strength using plyometrics. Powerlifting builds force (the maximum amount of strength you can output) and plyometrics builds velocity (the speed at which you output that force).
