The best thing to do is actually drink more water! I know that sounds crazy but it flushes your system out.

OMG! A subject I know all tooooo well. I am about 20lbs bloated(yes, no exaggeration) right now. It was about 30, but after taking TWO of my dad’s prescrip diuretics(which I don’t recommend) because I am out of my prescrip diuretics, it’s less.

What I’ve heard, for those without extreme cases, is plenty of room temperature water with a little bit of lemon or lime juice(1/2 tsp to 1 cup). I know it sounds weird, but truly, the more you water you drink, the less you retain. Unless you are like me… A gallon of water weighs about 8lbs, and I usually drink that plus coffee, so I tend to put on 12lbs in a day of water, unless I have Aunt Flow, and then it is closer to what it is right now.
Eating vegetables, avoiding foods with high sodium content, is allegedly supposed to help.
Also, try the DIUREX(there is one without caffeine, which is the one I recommend) which is an OTC diuretic, if drinking more water with lemon or lime juice doesn’t help.

Lemon is a natural diaretic. Drink water with lemon and tea with lemon, dont force yourself to take in more fluids, just replace whatever you are normally drinking with lemon water and lemon and tea. No soda.

Stop eating as much red meats, eggs and pork as possible. Stop eating any and all junk foods(the salt in junk foods cause your body to retain water as well as non-essential oils). Stop drinking sodas-the number one cause of osteoporosis in women and men. Eat more fresh vegetables, fresh fruits for snacks and desserts. Drink organic fruit juices when available or make your own with a juicer. Drink 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day and walk at least two miles after school or work. At the end of 30 days your body will be slimmer, more toned. You will have more energy, stamina, all-around vitality and mental power than most people around you. Do this forever and when you are well past middle age like me, all of your friends will be begging you to tell them your anti-aging secrets. Your water retention problems and your non-essential oil retention will totally disappear.

solarized sea salt is your answer. the kind of salt you would get in the shaker like Morton’s makes you retain water. and sodium in foods retains water. the reason for this is because Morton’s salt is processed with iodine and aluminum, which aren’t digested properly in your body making you bloated.

solarized sea salt on the other hand. is the same life giving salt that mahatma Gandhi made during the march to the sea. it is good for you and flushes your body while making you loose water weight.

so i suggest you look into it do a little research on it. and if it sounds right for you, i think you can find it at trader joe’s or whole foods.

yeah, i retain alot of water especially around my cycle. I use DIUREX and that helps get rid of it. I also cut down my salt intake, didn’t take it out completely, just cut down. Also excerise helps get rid of the salt through sweat. im going to try lemon juice as well.

cutting down anything that increases the amount of blood sugar or osmotic presure of the blood will help. Do u know the cause of it? if u do then stay out of all the stuff that might trigger the retention. Otherwise i strongly suggest that u should see a doc for professional advice.
It could be complicated e.g. poor tissue fluid drainage, poor and slow blood flow due to low blood pressure, etc
    Better clear ur doubt professionally

Fiber is a must have in your diet & will do wonders for your body but you can also try NOT adding salt to your foods except for what it calls for when cooking a meal plan. Drink plenty of water to keep you body flushed out & if you eat a lot of carbs you can cut a little of that out too…at least for a while. You will see many results with all these.
