Grayson is a real gem. He dares to speak the truth. The US spends more and doesn’t get as good of results. Getting everyone insured is one step towards improving matters. Staying at 37th on health care really isn’t an option. The high health care costs is putting American small businesses at a major disadvantage against foreign companies.

No, they show up in the ER with colds and flu, take up time and resources and receive treatment in the absolutely the most wasteful and expensive way possible. And if they don’t feel like getting out of bed, they call an ambulance. These are people without regular health care, no doctor to call, doing what they have to. When people say our health care system is broken, it is this sort of thing they are talking about.
They are not in the emergency room now so who pays? You think you know everything. Tell me who pays? What diff. does it make if you are in the hospital with bullet in your ass or cancer. Those black people have no money and no insurance now who pays FOOL?

Medicare is restricted to >65 age, and many people who can’t afford insurance don’t qualify for medicaid.

If there is no medical emergency the hospital is under no obligation to treat the patient. When was the last time you saw someone administer cancer treatments in the ER, or a general wellness exam, or a prenatal exam, etc.?

Thanks to president Reagan Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act, hospital emergency rooms must provide service to all patients regardless of ability to pay. People in this country that have NO insurance at all are being operated on everyday. You are a brain dead idiot spewing democRAT talking points to the ignorant. You are 100% correct. The reform the government is offering is a joke. All it is is a big government take over of your privacy and a huge destroyer of private idustry. If the democRATs get your H-care they have you BY THE NUTS. TORT reform would help a lot but the trial lawyers and the democRATs are sleeping with each other. Also more competition. Being able to buy insurance from companies out of your state. These two things alone would drastically drop the cost of insurance for everyone.
The only problem with USPS, SSA and Medicare is the meddling by politicians, especially on the right, who continue to undermine them.
It is not the health care itself, but the access to it that is flawed. We need health INSURANCE reform.
