@usershmoozer i might be wrong but i think the only way to get this country back on track is to replace congress, the president and everybody else we can at the poles with good people
@ace19901227 Thanks, What I was trying to get at was the source of the information. Who gave us this information, what suspicion did they have, and was it a reasonable suspicion. I only have one problem with the war on terror, we knew where bin Laden was before it happened: Osama had been admitted to the Pakistani military hospital in Rawalpindi, and most likely he was there afterwards. Oh well, what’s done is done.
Yes of course the war on terror is the war in search for Bin Laden and the goal to end terrorist groups in that country which I believe is a good idea. When it comes to the Iraq War I still have to agree with it, we got intelligence that WMD may be there, a claim like that shouldn’t go unoticed. Better to go there and find nothing than not to go and then find out WMDs are there and its too late to do anything about it. (your much better to talk to than SuperElm, good points!)
@suecudac What you’re saying is the single most important take-away from all of this. This country has never been more polarized than now (except maybe just before the civil war). I wish more people would listen to words of reason like this, put down their arguments and try to find a way to make things right. We The People of this Country are the only ones who can do it. We must not rely on government to guide our conscience but rather the love of our freedoms and respect for our way of life.
@ace19901227 Yeah, the war wasn’t illegal. However, it was a horrible idea. We went into Iraq to destroy WMDs but found very few, making it an exercise in pointlessness. Why did we invade there if there weren’t WMDs, we had “intelligence” that said there were WMD within Iraq. We received that intelligence from the CIA. Anyway the point is the war in Iraq was not meant to capture Hussein or Bin Laden. The war on terror is the one that is looking for Bin Laden.
@ace19901227
100,000 Iraqi civilians have died violently, while a million have died due to the conditions the war has brought. Have a good time trying to give them freedom, you cunt.
Bush’s killings? Have you ever heard of casualties of war? Guess not. Civilians getting killed is a horrible thing but it happens, there in a war zone. Do you have any idea how many people Osama bin laden killed? How many Saddam killed? See, liberals like you don’t think about that. The iraqi people are just like us, they want a life free from terrorism, tyranny, be free to prosper and get a taste of what freedom is. Our soldiers are making that happen, so ya I do defend Bush. Moron.
Republicrats & Democrans, It does not matter. They are using the old divide & conquer technique on US. The more we stat divide about my political team against yours, the more they win. It’s the Elite against the rest of the world. They all lie. The problem is US. No one want’s to admit they were wrong when we all are. Stop supporting the system & the system will crumble. We are the only reason they exist.

@skyangel213 Uh..Bush randomly started a war? You mean HE was flying those four planes on Sept. 11? I thought ben Laden took credit for those heinous acts. Pretty sure I was watching CBS that day those planes flew into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and crashed in a field. I’m not defending Bush…but I believe that any president (other than this one) would have reacted the same way. We were attacked by outside forces on our ground. What else should he have done? Say “I’m sorry” and bend over?

Okay, maybe I was incorrect in stating it was illegal (I don’t know for sure). But still thousands of innocent civilians were killed…and for what? I double dare you to defend Bush’s killings.
Your comments are enough to make you an idiot. You obviously have no idea what the November elections are for. Our senate elections, as well as our house of representatives elections are this November. Guess you didn’t know that! You still assume Bush waged an illegal war, I think were all tired of hearing that BS. Here’s a tip, stop watching CNN and the TV. Read a newspaper, read a book, and actually learn something instead of spitting out nonsense you’ve heard from liberal media TV
Not true at all, Obama has spent more than 8 trillion dollars and counting in two years, when Bush only spent that in eight years. Obama has played more golf than Bush did in his entire eight year term. I’m also from New Orleans, and I must say that Bush handled Katrina a lot better than Barry on this oil spill, at least Bush managed to aid in the rebuilding of a whole city and Obama hasn’t helped pick up one drop of oil. I can’t wait for November.
It has been a year and a half, and I still sit there sometimes in stunned disbelief that senile bush has been followed by this lying clown. Honestly, I have NEVER felt so ashamed of my countrymen as I have now.
lol, skramdiks. You think the world had respect for Bush? What Fox News correspondent told you that? Bush wasn’t respected, he was feared because he was/IS a mad man. Randomly starting a war with a country. . . yeah, the world loves us for that! dumbass. . .

@ace19901227 Your absolutely correct but if you want to go back far enough both were supported by the U.S.

Um….nothing is going to happen this November dude…
Bush waged an illegal war. That’s enough to make him an asshole.
