My Health 
I have notice a common theme here is that if Republicans or anyone else who is against this bill as it stands doesn’t want health care bill.
I like to see some reform but not this bill.
So why does Obama and company think this is the only way to solve the problem?
That goes for the rest of us here who slam anyone who doesn’t want this bill.
So is their only one solution?
The Republicans were shut out of putting any ideas into this bill.
So the Democrats didn’t want any other input.

If you have any other solutions, I’d be interested in hearing them.
I think the big thing is, no one really has an alternative solution. Most of their solutions are just trying to delay the bill.
I’m neutral on the whole thing.
Because they’re afraid that if they don’t pass this bill now that the republicans will veto the crap out of any other bill that’s proposed just for the sake of vetoing. I feel that the republicans are now ready to compromise with lots of legislation proposed because if they don’t they will never get anything they want. I just hope that the dems. can also compromise
I am completely with you. We need tort reform (limiting litigation of doctors). Patients using Medicare and Medicaid are turning around and suing their doctors just because they want to get rich. Sadly Barack Obama is a lawyer and this will never happen while he is in office. Barack Obama is a filthy lawyer.
When you have proposed nothing, support nothing, and have done NOTHING to fix health insurance for the six years that you were in absolute power, you sort of lose all credibility on the issue.
Republicans offer nothing. They are fighting this bill even though they don’t even seem to know what’s in it. They are claiming to have been frozen out of the discussion even though the bill is rife with what used to be Republican ideas.
And by the way juju, tort reform is a garbage non-issue. It’s a distractor meant to make people angry at lawyers instead of pay attention to things that actually matter. Texas has comprehensive tort reform, and yet for some strange reason it also has some of the highest health care costs in the country.
All Obama, Pelosi and reid want are: Higher taxes and for medicare folks to die off.
Because reform doesn’t give them the power they want. They want single payer insurance like England, Canada and other socialist countries. They know they can’t do that all at once so this is the first step in creating a single payer insurance plan. That is why they are so intent on pushing this through even against popular opinion.
0bama’s plan is to send the Lexus to the scrap heap, so he can introduce the new Cooper !
The Republicans would like to take the Lexus and modify it so that it is more user friendly. Start applying the law to Medicare cheats, whether they are doctors, nurses, insurancs companies, hospitals, tort, disability cheats, and any person or institution guilty of raising the costs of health care, under the current program.
0bama needs to define his presidency. Without health care as part of his legacy, he’s just another Jimmy Carter.
Fix what needs fixing. It’s not broken !
It isn’t the only solution but nothing the republicans has proposed will do anything other than window dressing. For 100 years, the US has tried to get universal health care and has always been skillfully defeated by the conservatives. If this bill fails, there won’t be any effort to reform health care until the next democrat comes into office (or until employer provided health care becomes too expensive).
The republican solution of waiting until the system totally collapses is not a solution.
They don’t, you have not been paying attention, They want to pass this bill and tweak it later as the occasion arises. As the only thing coming from the republicans on this issue is NO NO NO ! So we can’t expect any help from them. The President has said that if anyone has an answer to the healthcare issue to forward it to him, so if you know how, do us all a huge favor, sent it to him.
This is the only solution that has been put forward so far, so this is the one that is on the table. They are trying to do something as something needs to be done.
As for me I would love to hear more solutions, lets hear it. OK.
