    Lift is the red one (and we call it Kabees Lift)
    Kabees is the cucumber, we call it Mkhallal too
    or if you prefer it in Egyptian, it is called Torshi ;)

    I’ve learned that with rolling pita you need to use fresh pita that has not yet been refrigerated. Keep the pita in an airtight bag and it should be good for rolling for about a week or so. Hope this helps :)

    I wanted to eat more healthy so I tried making the shawarma with whole wheat pita.

    I suck at wrapping, so my pita always falls apart or tears.

    I’ve tried warming the pita first to make it pliable, but to no avail.

    I’m starting to wonder if maybe whole wheat pita is no good for shawarmas

    Excellent work, i have been trying to not only cook, but wrap a shawarma in the traditional style of most restaurants. Your work looks spectacular and i bet, it tastes as good as it looks.

    ok people you know what geos soo good with the shawarma garlic sauce . just spread them on the bread and add the rest and yummmmm soo goood. by the way garlic is the best im a big fan lol

    Yes, you can add hummus in the sandwich or just the tahini sauce, whatever you like :)
