Gotta say though, this is a great vid.
    Interesting and very well produced.

The presenter has great knife skills, but a bit quirky and eccentric too. He’s funny, I like it :-)

  7. carpii says:

“Pan fried chicken, aside from being a completely different animal to deep fried chicken..”

Nope, they’re both the same animal. Just chickens :-)

Dont argue, people, Im just teasing anyway

It’s not a matter of working, it’s a matter of it being slow and stuttery.

  12. kiminokami says:

    I agree. Great book.

  13. kiminokami says:

Really? It works on my computer.

  14. Revrant says:

Nope, still stuttering and jerking for me, probably an upload problem given I haven’t had any problems with any other videos.

  15. alion06 says:

works fine with me then again i only pan-fry i never deep fry

  16. MrKlaw11 says:

He uses lots of reference materials. What Einstein Told His Cook is another great book on science/cooking.

  17. MrKlaw11 says:

Do NOT use egg. The fat in the egg will attract fat from the frying oil and your chicken will be a greasy mess.

  18. kiminokami says:

Whatever the problem was, it is gone now. The vid works fine.

  19. alion06 says:

you can use milk or egg but it wont be as good

  20. Jedibron says:

You can actually order free range birds pre cut online.

  21. AndyTheSamurai says:

You really can’t. There’s nothing that will get you the coating that buttermilk will get you. On the plus side, you can use buttermilk for a LOT of other things. It’s incredibly useful for baking and mashed potatoes.

  22. ghostbirdofprey says:

heh, first time I tried to bone a chicken all i got was chicken nuggets

  23. shollia says:

Lol I just tryed that and I still messed the meat all up :P Oh well… not gonna effect the flavor so no worried :D

  24. NPonlamuangsri says:
