Hi Guys, So just a video talking about all the most commonly consumed ingredients on the Healthy Skin Diet eating plan! Please refer to my prior videos for more information on the eating plan and book. I can’t believe I forgot to add in CHICKPEAS… for Protein and if you are looking for breads go for wholemeal or grainy stuff – stay away from the white stuff! Karen Fischer – Author of The Healthy Skin Diet – website: www.healthbeforebeauty.com For loads more information and great recipes I encourage you guys to take a look at Karen’s book which I have been reading called the Healthy Skin Diet – it’s a fascinating and informative read. Remember guys no one is perfect with their diet – and yes I have days where all I feel like eating is Twizzlers but eating healthy is so important for overall health and wellbeing oh and it makes your skin glow too! xx Amysass7

Also another thing that I’d like for you to make a video on is Tofu, I’ve never had it before and I have no clue how to cook it and I would really like to change from meat to tofu.

I hope that made sense lol

I love to be healthy but I often find that when I follow healthy eating plans it requires me to buy all these things that are really expensive and things that my parents normally wouldn’t buy and I end up wasting a lot of the things because I find that I only use one ingredient for one recipe, so one thing that I would LOVE for you to create a video on is recipes using many of the following ingredients you have listed, instead of just one or two out of the lot.

I think it is mainly due to possible hormones added to dairy products like milk, cheese and yoghurt.

I know for sure that my skin has improved from removing them from my diet as I used to drink gallons of milk and eat alot of cheese.

I’ve just weaned myself of it basically and I don’t even crave it which is good.

That’s a really good question! I did loose 1 or 2 kgs from the eating program as I cut out alot of sugar and fat from my diet and I can sympathise as well as I am pretty small – but I think definitely have a look at the book – I believe Karen touches on who it’s suitable for etc. Good Luck :)

Just a question I’d really love if you’d answer: Did this make you lose any weight? I’m a teenager, and I want to do this healthy skin diet, but I don’t want to lose any weight from it. I want to use it strictly as a skin thing, you know what I’m saying? I don’t want my family to think I’m dieting because I want to lose weight because I DEFINITELY don’t need that, since I’m tiny and still growing! So yes or no? Do you think this “diet” is good for teens?
