    West Virginia isn’t in the midwest. . . it’s in the south. Nnless your referring to some sort of list of areas I’ve never heard of. . .

    sadly they probably aren’t– they probably eat breakfast and lunch at school– who knows if or what they get for dinner!

    This demonstrates that parents aren’t doing their job. Yes, public school teachers should be teaching about the food groups, but if the kids can’t even identify a tomato or potato what the heck are their parents feeding them? Also shows that no one spends time in the kitchen with their kids anymore.

    This is less about knowing what fresh food looks like, and more about the mid-west having shitty schools.

    Food that comes out of a packet. Disgusting.

  24. hsd628 says:

    Again, you rightly point out that your Colleges, TV and Education systems are entrenched brainwashing mechanisms of their own – and that’s part of the problem. But if people like you just shrug and throw it in the “too hard basket” – then of course it will come true. It’s either start with the kids and do something now, or the world will drag you all kicking and screaming back into the land of sanity within the next 30 years – things literally aren’t this bad anywhere else in the world.

  25. trufiend138 says:

    @hsd628
    “de-programmed” and who will be doing that the public education system? college? tv?

    you got until 20! after then its to late, either your clueless, lazy, or have bought into the system and of course to scared to even become an enemy of the state..we dont have the civil liberty to really buck to hard agaisn the system. the govt can now legally make you disappear
