Easy and healthy baby food recipes?

I’m worried about my baby’s diet. He is 7 months old and he’s been on 2 meals a day since 6 months. I’ve never been told what to feed him, I’ve just guessed. He just has jarred porridge for breakfast and jarred baby food for dinner, along with his milk feeds and some rusks for snacks if he seems hungry.
I’ve heared about mothers making their own food with different vegetables, and it sounds so much healthier (and cheaper) than these jarred foods. Has anyone got any good recipes? I’ve never been a good at cooking so the the more simple the better! Thanks. xx

baby has a cold and i want some homeopathic remedies?

My baby is one week shy of 3 months old and she is coughing has a runny snotty little nose and she is teething (yes she is early even her ped is shocked). I dont want to give her any meds or anything like that. I want to try natural first and preferably. Things that will help calm her and help her feel better. anything will be helpful
just for your information she has already been to her pediatircian and urgent care and she does not have an ear infection or anything serious. I just wanted to make her more comfortable so before you go making accusations please find out your facts.

What’s your favorite easy, healthy dinner recipe? Trying to lose baby weight…?

I want to change my unhealthy habits, but I need to re-learn how to cook so I can eat healthier and lose weight. I don’t want to diet, I want to switch to a more healthy lifestyle.

So, what do you eat for dinner? I have to cook for me and my husband most days, and I need a lot of good, easy recipes to make the transition easier.

I mostly shop at Trader Joe’s, our local health food shop, and also Albertsons, local chain grocer, so I can get pretty much any ingredients, but I’m looking for easy stuff.

Please post your favorite easy recipe that’s great for weight loss and health!

baby chest congestion – tylenol the only option?

My 6month old seems to have chest congestion.

1. His voice ( or usual noises I should say ) is “raspy”.
2. He coughs every say 3-5min and you could hear the phlegm.
3. Does not seem uncomfortable or cranky. No fever.

What are my options? Is there a natural remedy that I can give him to eliminate the phlegm?

Tylenol seems to harsh for this case but I want to make sure this doesn’t become a full blown ear infection.

Healthcare Bill Outburst: Stupak called ‘Baby Killer’ across House floor

Texas Republican Randy Neugebauer admitted shouting ‘Baby Killer’ during health care debate on the House floor Sunday night. The scandalous remark came at the time of address by Rep. Bart Stupak, who announced Sunday afternoon that he would back the Senate bill despite his strong opposition to abortion rights.
