How to make a healthy breakfast shake?

How do I make a healthy and quick breakfast shake at home on days I do not have time to cook up a real meal? I would like to make something that does not tast offensive, is not to sugary or fatty and contains some protien. Any recipes?

I do not want the store bought crap.
Also, is it possible to store the shake in the fridge?

I am fed up eating milk and cereals , bread and butter everyday. So i want to get some innovative ideas or ways to prepare easy, quick , inexpensive and healthy breakfast. I love to cook myself and interested in vegetarian or egg related recipes.
