It has antiseptic and stimulant properties.  This essential oil is useful in treating skin conditions such as abscesses, acne, athlete’s foot, allergies, boils, bruises, burns, dandruff, dermatitis, earache, inflammations, eczema, insect bites and stings, insect repellant, lice, psoriasis, ringworm, scabies, sores, spots, sunburn and wounds.

5.    Rosemary oil – It has an antioxidant properties, and has a remarkable stimulating effect on the skin.  This essential oil is also used for hair and scalp stimulation, as well as anti-aging products. The oil should also not be used during pregnancy and by the people with epilepsy or high blood pressure.

6.    Rose oil – This oil has an astringent effect on oily skin and has a slight tightening effect. It is most effective for moisturizing and hydrating the skin while having a general stimulant and antiseptic action which is good for all skin types, but especially for dry, mature and irritated skin. It is used to repair broken capillaries, inflammation, as well as skin redness and is useful in eczema.

Most mothers live in a constant state of worry about the right nutrition for kids and how to go about achieving it. The problem does not lie with their lack of information but with the un-cooperative attitude of their children. Almost all kids seem to have problems with consuming the kind of nutritious food that aids mental and physical development. Struggles relating to food issues are ubiquitous and mothers are commonly found discussing strategies to overcome this barrier. How do you ensure that your child has a healthy eating habit and does not fall ill or suffer otherwise due to inadequate nutrition in his diet?

Alkaline foods may sound like something from a science fiction book, but when choosing the most powerful nutrition for athletes they should be considered. If you envision a superhero with a big A on his chest, you are at least beginning to imagine that these all natural foods may provide a key to superior fitness.

The alkaline forming or acid forming properties of foods come into play when your body uses them for fuel. After they pass through your digestive system, you end up with an alkaline or acid ash in your blood, depending on what you ate or drank or smoked. Instead, the exact opposite is required, and is obtainable with the consumption of more alkaline foods.

When there is a lack of alkaline food in someone’s diet to help manage that delicate blood pH balance, then the body has to pull calcium from bones in order to neutralize excess acid in the bloodstream. You can easily see how that could cause bone weakness, and again, that’s the last thing you want in high quality nutrition for athletes.

I began eliminating many acid-forming foods from my life and integrating more alkaline foods into my routine.
