My new years resolution is to cook every meal at home, but I also want it to be healthy, since I want my family to be healthy, and I want to lose 30 lbs. So please share your cheap, easy and healthy recipes. Oh I’m not to picky about cost but I don’t really want to spend $30 a meal. and easy meaning, I don’t mind cutting veggies or things like that, but I don’t want some fancy cooking technique. I am in school and dont havea whole lot of extra time between that and work. Please and thank you.

How to cook for my family?

I would really like to start actually cooking good healthy food for my family. I have a baby who is just begging on table food so i wanna throw out my hamburger helper and frozen pizzas and transition into a good healthy home cooking style. Were kind of on a budget, but we do have around 300 to spend a month on groceries. I have a lot of time on my hands being a stay at home mom to start cooking good meals. Does anyone have any tips, recipes, ideas, or websites for me? Thanks so much.

Healthy meals for under ten dollars meal that will feed a family of four? ?

I was just watching the Oprah show and a woman claims to be able to prepare a healthy home cooked meal for four dollars. She didn’t give examples however…

Do any of you have any great recipes for meals under ten dollars?

What is a really good cookbook for healthy eating for the whole family?

Me and my mom love to cook (I’m 13) and lately the foods we’ve been cooking haven’t been helping our waistline. I want to get a cookbook that has family friendly recipes that are still very healthy. We’re vegetarian too, but I’m looking for a cookbook that has like snacks, deserts, entrees, etc.

Thank you!!

Oh and this is going to be my Christmas present so I don’t want to buy anything that will offend her.

How do you cook healthy meals for your family?

I’m Italian, I grew up in a family where food was the center for all events……dinner on the table promtly every night……and it was a complete meal.
I recognize the value of family dinner, but in order to please us all…..especially the kids……I cook food that tastes really good, but I think we’re all getting fatter! I don’t fry or make excessively fattening foods, but I cook stuff that tastes good……and let’s face it, it’s not the healthiest. When I make broccoli for instance, I steam it, and drizzle it with olive oil and bread crumbs and a little salt……that way the kids will eat it, but it’s fattening that way!

How do you cook healthy food that tastes good……I dont’ have time for endless recipe books, and I certainly can’t cook different things for everyone’s tastes.
