Obama’s Socialist Health Care Plan-A Fraud for America

H.R. 3962, the health care reform bill being pushed through Capitol Hill, is nothing more than another fraudulent scheme of suspected Kenya-born Obama’s unconstitutional and un-American agenda to undermine the freedom, prosperity, health and natural rights of every American citizen. The health care reform that Obama wants to impose is a socialist system in which Americans will have less control over their own lives and the government will assume more. It is no wonder socialized health care is the preferred system for any tyrannical government with Marxist ideals.

Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI) released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail.

The JCT letter stated that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years

In response to the JCT letter, Camp said: “This is the ultimate example of the Democrats’ command-and-control style of governing – buy what we tell you or go to jail. It is outrageous and it should be stopped immediately.”

For those readers who do not feel utterly outraged over this new legislation or do not yet understand the intent of socialized health care, or socialism for that matter, this article will make such an argument that no intelligent, freedom loving American could ignore.

In the past, socialized health care has been a typical ingredient of communism and in America it will be a great leap in that direction. It is an insult to every intelligent and freedom-loving American for the government to imply that its citizens are incapable of making decisions concerning their own personal health and that only government is worthy of making these decisions by micro-managing each and every Americans health.

Health care in America today is, compared to other “wealthy” developed countries, relatively poor and by what the true American standard should be it is a tragedy. Many Americans recognize this and are thus led to believe that reforming the system would not be such a bad thing. However, the current health care system is not a truly free-market system and definitely not on par with what a Constitutional America should have and deserves.

The “private sector” of American health care is actually so regulated by the government that it is practically socialized as it is. The health care reform that the Obama administration wants will not resolve the problems with our current system, it will only amplify these problems and help secure more control (and profit) for the government, perpetuating the root cause of the system’s shortcomings it already has. Set up as bureaucracy, the system operates and will operate under said reform, with the efficiency and fraud usually inherent of one.

The failing health care system is due to being bureaucratically regulated rather than a having a competitive, privately run, free-market system as per the Constitution of the United States. As an example, in 2002, America spent $1.6 trillion on health care, up 9.3 percent from 2001. Drug costs increased 15.3 percent while hospital costs increased 9.5 percent. Out-of-pocket costs, the most market-related, declined.

Keep in mind these costs are covered by overly stressed taxpayers. A truly competitive and free-market system would guarantee the out-of-pocket costs for hardworking Americans would remain fair and care provided would be of good quality. If health care providers do not give quality and compassionate care, they don’t stay in business. Under socialized health care the opposite is true; expect high cost and low quality when the market is even further monopolized by the government under the socialist system. This most certainly explains why many Americans travel to a lesser developed country, Mexico, to escape the bureaucracy and attain more affordable healthcare.

America originally had such private free-market health care system. During this time our health statistics ranked first in the world. Today, America’s worldwide rank in many health-care areas ranges from 19 to 22. The destruction of the constitutional, fair and effective system may be attributed to the rise of the “medical cartel’ in the late 1800′s. The cartel, the American Medical Association, formed in 1847, was backed by the Carnegie Foundation and the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research. It controls how many medical schools exist, how many students enroll, what is taught in the schools, the availability of hospital residencies, and, indirectly through licensing laws, who will get jobs in medicine.

A cartel exists when one group works together to set prices and control all steps in the production and distribution of a commodity or service. The motive of a cartel is purely monetary. The intention of the AMA was to reduce the supply of doctors by eliminating the competition and controlling the number of medical graduates. The AMA was successful in reducing the number of medical schools from 140 in 1900 to 77 in 1940. This is not the first such fraudulent activity that the Rockefeller family has been known to be involved in.

While on the topic of fraud and profit, it is important to note here that adverse drug effects and medical errors cause about 669,000 deaths according to a survey conducted by the Nutrition Institute of America. This makes drug medicine one of the leading causes of death in America. Alternative health care providers-those who avoid prescribing harmful drugs and instead practice natural health techniques such as the use of vitamins and minerals-are suppressed and shut out of the mainstream by the corporate (pharmaceutical companies)interest of the bureaucracy by imposing restrictive legislation and licensing requirements. If physicians don’t play by the rules, they risk losing their licenses.

It is unlikely a coincidence that socialized health care legislation has been proposed in time to be passed almost in sync with the December 31st, 2009 projected date that Codex Alimentarius is scheduled to be implemented world-wide. Codex Alimentarius basically reclassifies vitamins and minerals as drugs, allowing big pharma to reap great profit while people suffer. Codex food and drug guidelines have already been adopted by the EU, as of this writing the guidelines have not been adopted in the US but the proposed health care reform will drastically increase the likeliness that they will be.

Polls clearly show that most Americans do not want H.R. 3962 to be passed but the government is no longer listening to the needs and desires of Americans. That’s a scary thought. Socialized health care is not about “we the people”, it is about government attaining another monopoly made possible by unconstitutional legislations. It is only about money, power, control and tyranny. If the legislation is passed it will be a sad day in America, it will be another stepping stone toward the incremental destruction of America that has been sought after since 1776.

Senator Coburn Calls Health Care Bill’s Abortion Language A Fraud

Democrats strike a deal to shore up the final vote they need to pass health care reform in the Senate.

By toughening restriction on abortion coverage, Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson has agreed to support the plan.

The President calls Saturday’s compromise a major step forward in providing health insurance to the millions living without.

But, Senator Tom Coburn calls it a fraud that will lead to taxpayer funded abortions. The Oklahoma republican was one of the first to speak out against the bill.

Senator Coburn says Saturday’s developments put the country on the path for federally funded abortions. But his critics call the Senator’s posturing an empty gesture.

“The negotiations, whoever did them, threw unborn babies under the bus,” said Sen. Tom Coburn, (R) Oklahoma.

An angry Senator Tom Coburn took to the podium shortly after it was learned that Nebraska democrat Ben Nelson agreed to a healthcare reform compromise.

The bill has restrictions on abortion coverage in policies sold inside the government exchanges.

States would be permitted to ban insurance coverage of abortions except in cases of rape, incest or to save the mother’s life. It also creates a way to keep funds that would be used to pay for abortions separated from federal subsidy dollars flowing to health plans.

In states where coverage is permitted, consumers must notify the company they want it and pay for it separately.

But Senator Coburn says there’s no way to keep federal money separated unless abortions are strictly prohibited in a public plan.

“For the first time in the history of this country, under this bill, federal tax dollars will be used to pay for abortions,” said Sen. Coburn.

But Oklahoma democrats say the senator’s anger is misguided.

“Clearly he’s just putting a series of political stunts ahead of doing what’s right for Oklahoma or Oklahoma families,” said Karina Henderson, Oklahoma Democratic Party.

Karina Henderson says Senator Coburn should spend more time at the bargaining table than in front of the microphones.

“I think what Senator Coburn is doing is using a divisive issue as an excuse for his own failures to govern,” said Karina Henderson.

The Congressional Budget Office said the Senate bill would extend coverage to more than 30 million Americans who lack it. But Senator Coburn says it simply goes too far to fund a procedure that pro-life groups say should stay out of the government wallet.

The other health care plans under consideration all ban the use of government money to pay for abortions.

Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn’s news release:

“This reprehensible and deceptive agreement is a historic and radical shift in policy that will require taxpayers to pay for abortion. The American people will be outraged when they realize this so-called compromise is a farce. I can’t imagine there is a single pro-life taxpayer in Nebraska, or any other state, who would agree to pay to end the lives of the unborn for a never-ending Medicaid earmark or tax breaks for insurance companies. Unfortunately, Senators Reid and Nelson disagree,” Dr. Coburn said.

“The fact that the most ardent pro-choice Senators support this agreement while pro-life groups, such as the National Right to Life Committee, oppose it should send a chilling signal to taxpayers in Nebraska and across America. Majority Leader Reid wants to rush this phony agreement through the Senate precisely because he does not want the American people to have time to understand its implications. Yet, in spite of these efforts to mislead the public, the American people will grasp and understand this decision and they will hold accountable anyone who defends sacrificing the unborn on the altar of political expediency,” Dr. Coburn said.

“Senators Reid, Nelson and others are using Enron-style accounting gimmicks to justify this radical shift in policy. Their claim that federal dollars will be separated from private dollars paid by premiums is a farce and they know it. In reality, the dollars will be fungible and mixed just as Social Security ‘trust fund’ dollars are used to finance other areas of government,” Dr. Coburn said. “The fact is this agreement, which was allegedly reached after weeks of gut-wrenching negotiations, is an elaborate charade. This new language is identical to, or worse than, the underlying abortion language in the Reid bill. Senators Reid, Nelson and others will have great difficulty convincing taxpayers that they were working to accomplish something other than carving out special favors for particular states.”
