			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is my experience that most of the outrage for the bill comes from ignorant people who have been told the bill pays for abortions, or kills old people, or sets up government insurance, or a government takeover of health care, or that illegal immigrants will get health care, none of which are provisions in the bill which was passed.</p>
<p>So do you think that when people realize the talking heads lied to them about what is in the bill, they will support it more?</p>

You have recently been diagnosed with Type II diabetes which is regulated with medication. You are currently inactive, but must lose 45 pounds (female) or 55 pounds (male). You have a BMI of 32.</p>
<p>You know that your school does not provide many healthy lunchroom options, but love school lunch. You mom works from 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM and cannot pack your lunch. By the time you wake up and get yourself ready for school, it is time for you to walk to the bus stop. You attend school from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM</p>
<p>Develop a daily menu for one week for each scenario. Be sure to consider the lifestyle described in the scenario when designing meals.</p>
<p>-Use the food pyramid to nutritionally balance the menu<br />
-Set maximum amounts for daily calories consumed and grams of fat consumed<br />
-Include between meal snacks</p>
<p>Design a one week exercise program for each scenario. Remember to consider the time you have and resources it will require. Your workout plan should include the following:</p>
<p>-warming up<br />
-flexibility<br />
-cardio<br />
-strength<br />
-cooling down</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve just got a mountain bike and I want to use it to become fitter and lose some excess weight.  I&#8217;m in my 20&#8242;s and I&#8217;ve not done any kind of physical exercise in 8-10 years.  I&#8217;d like to aim to be able to ride in the London to Bristol event next year (56 miles).  Is this do-able for a novice?  Can you point me to a website with any good solo training programmes? My plan is to start going out and doing 3 miles a day increasing this in increments of a 2 miles a week. Until I can comfortably do 30 miles in three hours &#8211; what do you reckon?<br />
I&#8217;ve got a decent mountain bike that is suitable for road use &#8211; it&#8217;s a Kraken Carrera.</p>

<p>Greasy hair is actually a common occurrence for many people. For those who do no usually experience greasy hair , there may be some concern with regards to what caused it and how to stop it from happening again. There are a few facts that will help people understand why this hair occurrence happens and how to avoid or prevent it. Some people believe that this kind of hair can be the cause of hair loss but there are no significant results from studies on this.</p>
<p>Causes Of Greasy Hair</p>
<p>The main cause of greasy hair is the production of sebum by the sebaceous glands on the head. The head is covered with many glands that excrete sebum, pretty much the same way that the skin does. Many people experience grease in the head and, subsequently, the hair when they seldom wash their hair. Of course, if one does not like to have the appearance of greasy hair , then a daily bath and shower is required to prevent the occurrence of hair that appears stringy, lumpy and greasy. The solution to the problem can also be the source of the problem as well. A few people sometimes experience that when they wash their hair more than twice a day can result to a buil dup of grease on the head and hair.</p>
<p>For those who do bathe and shower daily but still have greasy hair , then you must be suffering from an overproduction of sebum on the head. There are many different reasons for the over production of sebum in the head. This problem may also occur in the face, thus promoting acne and other skin blemishes. Sometimes, outside factors contribute to greasy hair. Hair products can coat the hair and make it appear greasy or lumpy. Dust and sweat can also make the hair seem greasy.</p>
<p>Treating Greasy Hair</p>
<p>To prevent greasy hair, the individual must bathe at least once a day to relieve the hair and head from excess sebum. Some shampoos can strip away the natural oils in the hair and stimulate overproduction of sebum, it is best to rinse the shampoo off the hair after lathering it. Do not let it stay too long in the hair. While conditioners help to maintain smoothness and silkiness of the hair, it can also add to the grease in the hair. Observe the effects of any hair conditioner on hair. Limit the length of conditioner stay on the hair if the greasy hair effect occurs even after bathing daily. Many experts also recommend avoiding the use of oil based hair products or reducing hair products to just shampoo and conditioner. Sometimes, hair gels and mousses can contribute to greasy hair .</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I use the following technique to improve my fitness that I read on a magazine:<br />
Week 1: 1 min Jog, 1 min run 50% strength, a little 30 sec rest then 75% power run, 100% strength run for 30 sec x 3<br />
Week 2: All same, 100% run 30 sec x 6</p>
<p>The problem is I have to work really hard to keep up with the schedule that I mentioned above. I get very weary when I reach the 75% part. I really have to work my way through to reach the end of the program. And after that my legs soar. And I drain out of energy as well? What could be the solution. I really need some help on this!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am 13, 5&#8217;5 and weigh 98pounds. I am fine with my weight but I want to get faster and run for longer. I am not bad with the stamina so much, it&#8217;s more that I can&#8217;t run quite fast for longer.<br />
For 50m it took me about 7seconds but for 100m it took me just under 20.<br />
What should I do to get faster for longer?</p>

<p>In recent times boxing has become a very popular form of fitness training. Many health club style gyms across Australia and the world operate boxing fitness classes (commonly termed boxfit) for the general public. These classes are boxing, but with the important exception of no contact, therefore utilising most of the fitness benefits that boxing provides. This popularity has turned to a stimulated interest in competitive boxing. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
No sport can provide the showmanship, action, drama and physical entertainment that boxing can. In Australia this has been shown in recent years by Anthony Mundine and Danny Green, and across the world by the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Roy Jones Jr.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Boxing as a form of fitness training is certainly nothing new, in fact it could be said that it is the original form of fitness training, with the sport dating back many hundreds of years. I like to classify boxing fitness as an underground style of training, as it is an original form of fitness training. Fitness training with a purpose. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
I have had the opportunity to view world champion boxers such as Mundine and Kostya Tszyu sweating it out in the gym. Both trained with pure purpose, they did not care what they were wearing or who was there for a chat. Just good old fashioned hard work.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
The fitness benefits of boxing are aplenty, with aerobic capacity, anaerobic threshold, speed, power, strength, reaction time, flexibility and agility just some of the qualities of fitness that are worked on.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
But, if taken beyond the level of just boxing for fitness, there is so much more that can be gained from boxing. Boxing is the toughest sport. There is nothing like being in a ring with a person standing opposite you looking to strike you in the most primal form of all, with the fist. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
All of you fears and insecurities are laid out right in front of you. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Do you back your self physically? Can you overcome any physical limitations with a strong mind, not worrying about possible outcomes? Can you look past hurdles, such as copping a blow and move forward with an eye on the ultimate prize? Are you not concerned about what people are thinking?</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
These are all questions that are asked when you step into the ring, whether it be for a sparring session or competitive bout. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
These are the questions we face in everyday life.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Champions and successful people answer these questions.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
There is no where to hide in the ring. You are back to how the cavemen lived, how we developed as humans. It is fight or flight.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
When competitive boxers are ridiculed by media and public for various reasons such as not showing enough courage or not fighting solid enough competition, very rarely would these critics have experienced what it is like to be in combat in the squared circle. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Boxers which are labelled taxi drivers, or even bums would dispose of such critics without much effort, if any at all.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Whist many will never decide to take the opportunity to spar or even have a competitive fight, it would be of great benefit to do so. After you have experienced the caldron of the boxing ring during battle not much else in life seems to difficult. It would be of exceptional benefit for individuals suffering from stress related illness, and especially athletes and even sports enthusiasts to step into the ring. </p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Whilst mental toughness can not be defined, time in the boxing ring will certainly make you feel although you have it, and are ready to take on whatever life throws at you, whether it is work or play.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Of course there are issues to consider, such as physical limitations and insurance. But if these areas are appropriately covered, then the opportunity should be seized.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
So next time you are watching a bout which is considered a mismatch, just think what it would be like in the ring. Whatever it is that you think it would be like you can multiply it tenfold.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Take the challenge; you will be a better person for it.</p>
