Diabetics Type 2 natural foods to make, anyone has any great recipes to share?

My dad is diabetic and I have vamped a career to care for him at 85 this means understanding Type 2 Diabetics nature and wanting to cook food that are healthy and from scratch. I think this makes for a healthier outlook than processed foods can give in nutrient, proteins, and greater balance.

Just for Me’s ‘Texture Softener’ for children with natural hair- how does it work?

Recently, a friend of mine suggested I put the ‘softener’ in my daughter’s hair to eliminate the fuzzies and allow her to wear her hair down without getting too tangled. She said that it isn’t a relaxer or even a lot of chemicals, and is perfect for my daughter because it is basically a deep conditioner. I checked it out at the beauty supply and the ‘treatment’ lasts for 12 weeks, and then needs to be touched up. Doesn’t that mean that her hair won’t actually be natural anymore if the product alters it’s original state? Or is it truly a deep conditioning product that would benefit us?

How can I activate my natural curly hair to be curly like it used to be?

I used a chemical straightner in my hair almost a year ago. I did it twice with about a month of time rest between the sessions.
Ever since then, my hair was never completely straight (like the box said it would be) and it was never curly like it used to be.
I miss my curly curly hair and have been tryin different things to make it activate again. I cut it to my shoulders (it used to be to the middle of my back), used deep conditioners, used “scrunch” gel, curl activator cremes, sprays, oils… nothing seems to help my spiral come back…
I’m wondering if the curl is damaged at the root? does anybody whos done perms know what to use to help the curl come back?? I desperately want my curls back.
Thank you.
PS: I have a mixed hair type. Thick, semi course, but soft.
it is now a little below my shoulders. I have colored and highlighted it in the past month too.
HELP PLEASE!
