What software is good for exercising brain functions? I know of brain fitness by Posit. Any other ones?

I haven’t been to school since I finished college more than 15 years ago. My job has become a monotonous routine. Recently, I’ve been reading about the capacity of the brain to create new connections between neurons by ‘exercising’ it. I’d like to find good software for doing just that. I know of brain fitness by posit, brain fitness by happy-neuron.com. I haven’t purchased either one of those because I’d like to know what other options I have.

Does anyone know any websites or easy and healthy recipes I can cook as I’m bored of the ones I have?

I’m trying to be healthy but I can never think of new recipes and I get bored of the ones I know and therefore it’s easier for me to be tempted by ‘bad’ foods so new ideas are welcome!!

Natural Cures for Asthma, Which Ones are They?

Natural cures for asthma are chosen by patients who would rather have their condition cured in a natural way.  Asthma is a condition that affects the respiratory system.  The airways transport air in and out of the lungs.  When the airways are affected they swell and air cannot pass through as it should. For one to have their asthma cured naturally, causes must be established.  Causes of asthma are hereditary, allergy, eczema, smoking and air pollution.

The most common cure for asthma natural is prevention of conditions that trigger an asthmatic condition. These conditions that trigger an allergic reaction are weather, fungi, molds, colds, viral infection, sex, hormones, emotions, house dust mites and animals. When one has known what in particular triggers their conditions, to prevent an asthma attack becomes easy.

Clean and fresh environment is a natural cure for asthma.  Air pollution is a cause of asthma and a trigger of an asthmatic attack. Therefore persons who are affected by a congested environment should make sure that their surroundings are clear end fresh.  They should avoid polluted environments like places with chemicals. Patients who react to allergies from animals, fungi, molds, should avoid exposing themselves to these conditions to prevent attacks.

Natural cure for asthma would also include exercises.  Patients with asthma should have regular exercise sessions to enable their respiratory systems get stronger.  The exercises should be mild and suitable for asthma patients.  They should be the type of exercises that helps to improve their condition.  Vigorous exercises are dangerous for this type of patients as this would result to a heavy load on their respiratory system. This results in situations getting only worse.  Doctor’s advice is required for natural cure for asthma.

How can one tell if one has reached the maximum possible of one’s muscle development?

Allen Cosgrove in Men’s Fitness about a year ago gave a formula to determine this. I wonder what other’s thought of this formula.
I’m 64. I started out at 148 lbs and got up to 175 lbs. I’m 6’2″. My waist increased from 32″ to 33″ I’m 170 lbs now and with a 17% bodyfat and much weaker due to a bad back, rotator cuff problems, and chronic fatigue which prevents doing aerobic and limits weight lifting. I’m interested in determing in a scientific way when I have reached my limit. I’ve been lifting over 30 yrs and have a M.S. and B.A. in Physical Education and have read and researched the subject extensively. Cosgrove is the only study I’ve found on the subject. His research was based on the progress made by Mr. America contestants prior to steroids. He used the fat free body mass and a BMI type calculation.
I went from 148 lbs at age 20 to 175 lbs at age 27.
