Help! I spend too much time in the kitchen & need some simple tried & true “from scratch” recipes?

I like to cook healthy things from scratch, no bottled pasta sauces, hamburger helper, etc…I am so busy during the week though, and I end up spending WAY too much time in the kitchen, and money is another consideration.

Do you have any favorite, easy, budget friendly, but also home-made recipes to share?

Is this true about the health care bill?

Is it true that in the health care there is something about building an army and financing it?Is anyone familiar with this part of the bill?

Is it true that a lot of the money in the Health Care bill has nothing to do with health care?

I heard there are a lot of attachments to the health care bill that have nothing to do with the bill but that they add millions of dollars onto the cost of the bill; is that true? One state representative is getting a huge amount of money for two airports that are hardly used?

Is it true that the easiest way to have natural hair is just to cut it all off and start over again?

I want to do this, but I am scared of how everything will turn out. I have transitioned before (relaxed to natural) but the diff. is that I cut off most of the relaxed ends. I have never just cut it all off at once. What would you suggest? I am home for the summer, so I would not have to worry about other people seeing my head shaved, but at the same time I don’t think I would feel very feminine.

My hair has been natural before, but I get frustrated with it bc I don’t know how to properly handle it and I just give in to relaxers. When it is in its natural state, I can’t treat it like kinky afro textured hair, bc it is wavy/curly but coarse at the same time. Therefore, I can’t go a long time w/o washing it. My hair is also too fine to do twists and things of this nature designed for kinkier hair.

I have also tried the no shampoo method in which one washes their hair with conditioner, but it cause my hair to come out. What would you do?
Nature girl: I think that you misundestood what I meant. I meant natural as in the hair texture I was born with. See, I have relaxed it and made it straight due to chemical treatment. Now, I want to go back to my roots so to speak and the easiest way to do this would be to get rid of the chemically treated hair. Even though you misunderstood thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
Yvonne, I seriously think it is past your bed time, lol. I am pretty sure you have school in the morning so go to sleep!

Why isn’t there a true cure for a hangover? Pill products are a ripoff; natural cures also. What gives?

I’ve purchased at least 15 different commercial sales products, all hailing their remarkable ingredients and research and proported results. Not one came close to working any better than placebo sugar pills might. If I have 3 bottles of lite beer, after a full meal, I am definately groggy and queasy the following day. All the anecdotal home remedy cures are equally useless. Other than abandoning alcohol completely, is there something out there that truly renders relief?
