On July 10, 2009 Bill Moyers interviewed Wendell Potter the former head of Corporate Communications for Cinga. You can read the full transcript of the interview and watch the video on the PBS web site www.pbs.org Wendell Potter warned us the health insurance industry was out to lobby Congress to make everyone buy a corporate health insurance policy. Oddly enough people haven’t been listening. Although the US health care system certainly could use an overhaul, what we’re getting is a mandate to buy corporate health coverage. After being forced to pay thousands in premiums for junk insurance, you can still be on the hook for up to $11900 a year in out-of-pocket medical expenses 4. Massive restriction on a woman’s right to choose, designed to trigger a challenge to Roe v. Wade in the Supreme Court 5. Paid for by taxes on the middle class insurance plan you have right now through your employer, causing them to cut back benefits …
